KELOWNA – A man has been arrested following an emergency situation at Kelowna International Airport Saturday afternoon.
Kelowna airport spokeswoman Jenelle Hynes says a man phoned the airport with a threat specifically directed toward a WestJet flight destined for Calgary.
The plane, which had arrived from Edmonton at around 1 p.m., was redirected to the far end of the runway.
