VANCOUVER – A man is recovering after falling off a 100-feet cliff near the University of British Columbia’s Wreck Beach.

Emergency response crews were called just before midnight to the endowment lands after receiving reports that a man had fallen.

It is believed he was partying in the dark with two others when the incident happened.

He was rushed to hospital with unknown injuries but rescuers say he was lucky he was not killed.
