Global BC’s Kate Gajdosik says as temperatures fall behind a departing front on Thursday night, rain could switch over to snow for the highway passes above 1,000 metres in elevation. Two to four cm is possible for the Coquihalla Highway and one to two cm for the Okanagan Connector near Pennask Summit. Precipitation will taper off late overnight or Friday morning, so significant accumulations are not expected with this early season snowfall.
