SASKATOON – A man and his dog are both recovering after an attempted robbery at a Saskatoon apartment Friday evening.
When the man answered his door around 10 p.m. at the apartment located in the 400-block of Avenue T South in the city’s Pleasant Hill neighbourhood, there was a man there who tried to rob him.
When the victim refused to hand anything over, the suspect stabbed the man in the arm before taking off with nothing.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
During the attempted robbery, the victim’s four-year-old black lab tried to intervene and was also injured.
Police are looking for a First Nations man in his 30s, 5’8” with a thin build and black hair with a short brush cut. He may also have a moustache or goatee.
