The high speed pursuit was launched after the suspect vehicle drove through a roadblock.
Shortly after the incident, the Independent Investigations Office became involved in the investigation because someone was hurt in a police related situation.
The IIO’s investigation looked at whether police committed any driving offences during the pursuit.
Now almost a year after the incident, the Criminal Justice Branch is announcing that no charges will be laid against the three officers involved.
After receiving the IIO’s report, the branch has concluded there is no substantial likelihood of conviction for any driving offences under either the Criminal Code or provincial Motor vehicle Act.
The man alleged to be behind the wheel of the suspect vehicle, Don Brodie, has been charged with criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
