UPDATE: Saskatchewan RCMP cancel Amber Alert for twin girls

REGINA – The RCMP have cancelled an Amber Alert Wednesday for missing twin girls believed to have been taken from their residence in west-central Saskatchewan by their mother.

Around 3:45 p.m., Carlyle RCMP located the two siblings and their 49-year-old mother safe and sound.

Mounties said the twin 10-year-old sisters and the mother could have been travelling in a 2007 Chevy Silverado truck when the alert was issued around 2:40 p.m.

Both girls had been last seen on Tuesday morning at their residence in Paradise Hill, Sask. and the incident was reported to RCMP at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
