When they arrived, firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the second floor of the home.

A family of eight was inside when the fire started – three adults and five children, ranging in age from one to seven-years-old.

Emergency crews transported one of the adults to hospital in non-life-threatening condition, but no one else was injured.

Fire crews are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
