You’re going to need a bigger beach.
Video posted to YouTube shows the incredible scene as dozens of sharks take part in a feeding frenzy on a North Carolina beach.
In the video posted October 13, the sharks are seen thrashing about in only a few inches of water on a beach in Cape Lookout State Park.
It is not known what caused the frenzy or drove the sharks to such shallow waters, where they are clearly seen to be struggling to move in just a few inches of water.

It’s the second strange incident involving sharks to hit the area in recent weeks. In late September, approximately 50 sharks were found dead on an Oak Island, North Carolina beach, near Cape Lookout.
“I’ve lived in Oak Island for some time and walk the beach regularly and I’ve seen dead fish in the surf from time to time but nothing like that, ever,” Oak Island resident Mike Boswell told WWAY News in Wilmington, NC.

In that instance, marine officials said they believed bycatch was to blame – the act of throwing back a marine animal because it’s not the correct catch.
This can affect the biodiversity of local marine ecosystems if the released animals were transplanted from their original habitats.
The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries is currently investigating.
