PREVIOUS STORY: Oct. 14:
VANCOUVER – RCMP in Richmond are still hoping the public can help with finding missing 57-year-old Brent Oldfield.
Brent arrived from Australia on Oct. 2 and was last see at YVR at about 8 p.m. that day, although it was originally reported he was last seen at 1 p.m. that day.
Police say it is out of character for Brent to not contact his family. They believe he may have travelled to Sechelt or may be staying in a hotel somewhere in the Lower Mainland.

Oldfield is described as Caucasian, with a slender build, 5ft 8, with closely-cropped grey hair, and a grey moustache.
He was last seen wearing black jeans, a black polo shirt, a dark grey or black fleece sweater, a black wool toque, and a blue denim jacket.
Oldfield is Canadian but had been living in Australia for four years. His girlfriend, who is still in Australia, says they were planning to move to Vancouver and Oldfield had travelled here to look for accommodation and employment.
“We just want to make sure he is OK, to reassure his family in Australia they don’t need to worry about him,” said Cpl Stephanie Ashton in a release.
If you see Brent Oldfield contact Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212 and quote file #2014-31709.
The family has also started a Facebook page to share information about Brent.
