Saskatchewan Roughrider fans honour Calvillo

MONTREAL – A couple of Rider fans honoured former Montreal Alouettes quarterback Anthony Calvillo on Thanksgiving Day.

Two football fans were spotted by Global News on Monday sporting Saskatchewan Roughriders jerseys with Calvillo’s name and number on them.

Calvillo’s jersey was retired in a ceremony during halftime at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

He won three Grey Cup championships throughout his CFL career with the Alouettes. Two of them were against Saskatchewan in 2009 and 2010.

The Alouettes were victorious Monday against the Riders by a score of 40-9.
