International Road Dynamics gets contract to provide services to U.S. agency

SASKATOON – International Road Dynamics Inc. (TSX:IRD) has received a US$4.7-million contract to perform services for the U.S. Federal Highway Administration.

The Saskatoon-based company will provide systems maintenance and data services for existing “weigh-in-motion” systems deployed under the Long-Term Pavement Performance program.

The WIM sites provide high-accuracy traffic and load data.

IRD will be issued task orders to provide maintenance, download data, and perform verification checks at specific sites.

It will also deploy camera systems at select locations that will cross-link vehicle images to vehicle records.

IRD specializes in supplying products and systems for intelligent transportation systems. It supplies private corporations, transportation agencies and highway authorities around the world.
