Calgarians happy with their city according to latest citizen satisfaction survey

CALGARY – Calgarians have given an overwhelming thumbs up to the city they live in.

According to the City of Calgary’s citizen satisfaction survey, 92 per cent of Calgarians give the give a positive rating for overall performance.

Nearly 80 per cent rank services consistently high and 86 per cent feel we are on track to becoming a better city.

Mayor Naheed Nenshi says he’s extremely pleased with the results but knows more improvements are needed.

“I think this really shows that this is what’s working and these are the areas that we still have to work on; you know I’d love to be able to say we don’t have to deal with any of these issues – of course we still have to deal with them. This gives us a great snapshot in how to set priorities.”
