KELOWNA–As the Fall Okanagan wine festival kicks off, the local wine industry has a lot to celebrate.
The region has been voted the second best in the world by USA today, the harvest is looking good, and sales of BC wine are up.

The festival launched with one of its most popular events, the West Jet Wine tasting at Rotary Centre.
Wine tours and tastings are being held up and down the valley until October 13.
The festival is expected to attract over 10 thousand visitors to the Okanagan.
