CALGARY – A 10 year old boy was rushed to hospital after being hit by an SUV near the intersection of Panamount Hill and Panamount Boulevard, N.W.
The collision happened at around 4:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The 17-year-old driver remained at the scene and told police the boy ran out onto the street. Witnesses confirmed the boy darted in front of his Jeep Liberty without looking. The driver was unable to stop in time.
The boy was taken to the Children’s Hospital with life threatening head and chest injuries. He is now in serious but stable condition.
