CALGARY – Residents living in parts of southern Alberta woke up to snow-covered lawns and patio furniture on Thursday.
Global Calgary Meteorologist Jordan Witzel says there was about 5 cm of snow which accumulated in the hamlet of Bragg Creek, west of Calgary.

The town of Turner Valley, about 70 kilometers south of the city, also saw about 5 cm of snow.
