HALIFAX – Fire investigators are looking into the cause of a house fire at 7 Winona Crescent in Halifax.
Fire fighters were called to the house at 11 p.m. Sunday night and extinguished the blaze quickly.
There was no one home at the time of the fire. Fire Commissioner Bryson Wilson said the house was recently sold, but the new owners have not moved in yet.
He added there was smoke and fire damage to the roof, and the new owners would not be able to move in for a short while.
Fire investigators were on scene at 1:30 a.m. looking into the cause of the blaze.
