Emergency crews including Airport Rescue, the Kelowna Fire Department, B.C. Ambulance and the RCMP were on scene in case anything did go wrong. The good news is that wasn’t the case. The plane landed safely, without incident.

Airport officials say the aircraft will undergo a mechanical review before it’s allowed to take off again. The incident didn’t have any impact on outgoing or incoming flights.
