CALGARY – The search for the last dog missing from a crash along the QE2 near Olds came to a happy conclusion Friday.
Jerry, a Chihuahua-cross was found sitting on a farmers deck north of Calgary.
He was one of about 30 dogs in an animal rescue vehicle September 13th when it rolled on a highway near Olds.
Four dogs were killed in the crash.
Volunteers managed to round up most of the other animals, but Jerry eluded them for almost a week.
He’s in good condition and now looking for a new home through the Animal Rescue Crew Society.
