SASKATOON – A cab driver was taken to a Saskatoon hospital with minor injuries after an armed robbery early Thursday morning.
The driver told police he had picked up six people and taken them to the 100-block of Avenue O South around 4:30 a.m.

It was then that a man pulled a knife and assaulted the cabbie.
The four men and two women then fled with cash and personal property.
The knife-wielding man is described as aboriginal, 5’8” with a heavy build and short to medium length black hair. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.

There was no description of the other suspects.
