PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Four people from Prince Albert have been charged by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) after drug busts on Friday.
Members from numerous detachments executed search warrants at two residences in the city. As a result, 182 grams of cocaine, cash and a firearm were seized.
A 25-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth are facing charges including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a restricted weapon with ammunition and possession of a weapon obtained by crime.
The man has been remanded in custody and will appear in provincial court on Monday.
Two women, 19 and 32, were also charged with firearm offences. They are scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 8, along with the youth.
No names have been released.
CFSEU is an integrated unit consisting of members from the RCMP and police from Prince Albert, Regina and Saskatoon.
