CÔTE SAINT-LUC — City council members in Côte Saint-Luc sang happy birthday as Hyman Fishman celebrated his 100th birthday Monday night at Côte Saint-Luc city hall.

Fishman said the happy years he spent with his wife, Faye Cooperman, were a big reason for his long life. She passed away in 2000.
He also credited that his family and a generous spirit for keeping him young at heart.
