HALIFAX – A second person has been arrested in connection to the death of Daniel Pellerin, 28.

Halifax Regional Police arrested Trevor Hannan, 23, of Dartmouth Friday night.

Hannan has been remanded to the Central Nova Correctional Facility.

He will appear in Dartmouth court Monday to face charges of first degree murder and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

A 15-year-old boy was also arrested Thursday in relation to Pellerin’s homicide.

The teen was arrested on Primrose Street in Dartmouth. Sgt. Jeff Carr with Halifax Regional Police said the arrest took place without incident.

“Following the arrest, there were interviews. We cannot get into details in relation to the matter itself but we can say that we do not believe this was a random incident,” said Carr.
