Montreal celebrates Quebec Bacon Day

MONTREAL – Hundreds of  bacon lovers gathered at La Guilde Culinaire cooking school on St.Laurent boulevard Wednesday night to celebrate Bacon Day.

Bacon treats for all meals were served up. There were even scratch and sniff bacon T-shirts.

“Bacon goes well with eggs, but there’s so much more that can be done with it,” explained Jonathan Garnier, from La Guilde Culinaire.

“You can use it for the main course to dessert. It can be really fun.”

The event was held in collaboration with Quebec’s Pork producers.
