TORONTO – Police are searching for the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Scarborough two weeks ago.
The incident happened on Saturday, Aug. 16 around 5:05 a.m. when an 86-year-old male pedestrian was hit while crossing Kennedy Road at Bonis Avenue.
Police say a dark-coloured vehicle struck the victim and fled the scene.
The elderly man was taken to hospital where he later died.
Police also want to speak with the person who followed the vehicle after the collision.
Anyone with information about the crash is urged to come forward.
