Hurricane Hazel goes fishing, catches rainbow trout

TORONTO – Ninety-three-year-old Hazel McCallion was the only politician to snag a fish during the last week of the Great Ontario Salmon Derby.

The mayor snagged a rainbow trout from the back of a boat on Lake Ontario.

“It’s just great, fantastic,” she said. “About three or four pounds. That’s really good eating fish.”

The trip wasn’t as wild as last year however when Mayor Rob Ford had to brace Hazel while she reeled in a huge salmon.

She thanked Ford with a peck on the cheek.
