LETHBRIDGE – Police have charged three women in the alleged kidnapping and assault of an 18-year-old girl.
Officers say the victim went for a drive with a female acquaintance on August 20th, and was taken to a farm outside of Lethbridge.
Two other women arrived a short time later, and assaulted the woman for several hours.

She was eventually driven back into the city, and was treated at Chinook Regional Hospital for extensive but non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the incident was not random, and have since charged three people.
Samantha Rose Ann Oldenburger, 24, and Chanel Leece Umpherville, 19, of Coalhurst are charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief under $5,000, and robbery.
A warrant was issued for Cherise Gail Bruno, 22, of Lethbridge.
She was arrested on Thursday, and charged with kidnapping, unlawful confinement, assault causing bodily harm, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, mischief under $5,000, and robbery.
