EDMONTON – A fake transit pass scheme has cost Edmonton Transit Service tens of thousands of dollars.
An investigation by city auditor David Wiun (you-in) found that the phoney passes cost the city $29,000.

One person has been arrested after some 351 counterfeit passes were allegedly sold during the scheme.
In his review, Wiun says ETS is aware of the problem and is implementing new security measures.
