Surrey RCMP are looking for witnesses into an aggravated assault at a lounge on Scott Road last year.
RCMP say that on April 28, 2013, officers were called to the Secret Resto Lounge for reports of a fight.
A 39-year-old Surrey man, who police believe may have been trying to break up the fight, suffered several serious injuries including multiple deep lacerations, contusions and a depressed skull fracture which required surgery.
The four suspects also attempted to assault an employee of the establishment, but he was able to avoid the attacks.
“Indications are that the victim might have been trying to break up a fight, which attracted the attention of the suspects who assaulted him,” says Surrey RCMP Cpl. Bert Paquet. “Although this investigation has progressed significantly since the attack, our investigators are looking for additional information that will assist them in bringing this matter to court.”
