Conrad Black tells all before going back to jail

TORONTO – Fallen media mogul Conrad Black has given a revealing interview to Vanity Fair magazine before he heads back to finish his prison sentence for fraud.

Black claims he earned the respect of a wide range of convicts during his 29 months in a Florida prison before being released on appeal last year

As Black put it, he earned the respect of the Mafia people, the Cubans, the ‘good ol’ boys’ and the African-Americans.

He also explained that he can “live on 80 million” — an apparent reference to what’s left of his fortune.

Black is slated to return to jail by September 6th to serve an additional 42 months for defrauding investors.
