Police have arrested and charged a second person in connection with last Saturday’s downtown homicide.
It started when fire fighters were called to the 100 block of Hargrave Street, for reports of a blaze. One man was rushed to hospital in critical condition. The victim, 53 year old Arthur Haussermann, later died of his injuries, and the homicide unit was called in to investigate the situation.

On Tuesday, July 29th, officers arrested a 29-year-old woman near Maryland and Broadway, facing charges including second degree murder and arson disregard for a human life.
That same day, Regina Police located and arrested a second female, following a Canada Wide Warrant. The 27 year old is now back in Winnipeg, and is facing charges of second degree murder and arson disregard for human life.
The 27-year old remains in police custody.
Damage to the suite from the blaze is estimated at $10,000.
