A man is on the run from police after escaping from the Regina Correctional Centre Monday.
Corrections officials say 30 year old Shaun William Wilton was working outside the facility Monday afternoon when he took off. He was reported missing at 2:30 p.m.
He was serving a one year sentence for possession of firearms, failure to comply, and possession of stolen property.
Wilton is described as Aboriginal, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and 150 pounds.
He has a variety of tattoos. The name “Wilton” is inked on his left lower arm. He also has a spider web and feather on his right lower arm, a rose on his right lower leg, and a cross and feather tattoo on his middle upper back.
