SOUTHEND, Sask. – The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team (URT) has been deployed to a northern Saskatchewan lake where a boater is missing.

On Sunday evening, RCMP received word that a 32-year-old man had fallen out of his boat on Reindeer Lake.

Police searched the area for the Southend, Sask. man but were unsuccessful.

The search continued Monday morning with the assistance of local volunteers and the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA).

A team of volunteers from Grandmother’s Bay also arrived with an underwater camera device.

URT will continue efforts to locate the missing man.
