PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the arsonist responsible for two fires at the same apartment building in Prince Albert, Sask.
On the morning of July 10, police were called to a structure fire in the 300-block of 32nd Street West.
A number of apartment tenants had to be evacuated due to the blaze. No injuries were reported.
Evidence was collected by police.
Then at 2:15 a.m. on Thursday, emergency services were called to the same building for a second fire.
Once again a partial evacuation ensued and no one was hurt.
Based on a joint investigation involving forensics and the Prince Albert Fire Department, both of these incidents are being treated as arson.
