EDMONTON – The Edmonton Police Service has located a 73-year-old man who went missing early Friday morning.
Police were searching for Douglas Springler, who required medication for Parkinson’s disease and schizophrenia.
Springler was last seen leaving an assisted living residence in the area of 125 St. and 140 Ave. around 4:40 a.m. Friday. He has mobility restrictions and may be using a walker.
Springler is described as a Caucasian man, 6’0″ tall, weighing 180 pounds. He has grey/brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, grey pants and black shoes.
Officers received a report that Springler may have been seen at the Northgate bus terminal around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Around 4:10 p.m. Friday, police said Springler had been located unharmed.
