A new report out Tuesday says the overall vacancy rate in Saskatoon remains low while demand for office space remains high.
According to Colliers International, the vacancy rate in the Central Business District for the second quarter was 4.6 per cent with no Class A office space available. This is a drop from 6.0 per cent vacancy in the fourth quarter.

Colliers attributes the drop in vacancy to two leases: SNC Lavalin leasing space in the Capital Centre and Stuart Olson Dominion Construction leasing space in the Arthur Cook Building.
The report says the market is expanding at an unprecedented pace with over four-hundred and sixty thousand square feet of new or proposed space.
