NEAR COQUIHALLA — Forestry officials are keeping a close eye on a large wildfire visible from the Coquihalla — just east of the former tollbooth.
They say the fire started Monday and was triggered by lightning.

Air tankers and helicopters were attacking the fire earlier today.
There is no threat to motorists, however, there is an evacuation alert for 30 nearby cabins on the east side of Murray Lake.
