At around 4 p.m., police were called to the corner of Bernard and Hutchison after receiving reports of an armed man inside the bank.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

“We have no description yet,” said Constable Danny Richer with the Montreal police.

“We are talking to witnesses to get more information.”

No arrests have yet been made.

Richer told Global News he does not believe this robbery is connected to the one in Kirkland.
