A fire broke out at Calgary Metal Recycling, sending a plume across parts of the southeast Sunday morning.
It broke out at the scrap metal yard on Ogden Road just after 6 a.m. A security guard spotted the fire and called it in.

Fire crews were able to bring the blaze under control.
No injuries have been reported and the surrounding air quality is said to be good.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
In 2012 several businesses had to be evacuated because of another massive fire at Calgary Metal Recycling.
