HALIFAX – Police have released the identity of a young man who was killed in a head-on collision east of Halifax on Friday evening.
RCMP say the crash happened just after 8 p.m. on Highway 107 near Lake Echo.

They say 21-year-old Skilar Burneau of Halifax, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles, died as a result of his injuries.
The female driver of the car was treated for minor injuries.
Police say the male driver of the second vehicle was not seriously injured.
