REGINA – The province has approved the City of Regina’s application for the Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) for uninsurable losses associated with the heavy rainfall on June 28, 29 and 30.

Applications are available at City Hall and online. The Guidelines for Private Claims is also available and should answer most questions about completing the application.

Residents are asked to make sure they have contacted their insurance provider – if the provider has denied a claim, a letter documenting the denial of claim will be required.

Applicants are also asked to take photos and document any damage and work done in order to provide proof of loss and repair to the PDAP adjuster who will review the claim.

Residents with questions about applications can call the PDAP office at 306-787-7800. Completed applications can be returned to City Hall in person, or by mail to PDAP Claim, City of Regina, PO Box 1790, Regina, SK, S4P 3C8, or directly to PDAP at PO Box 227, Regina, SK S4P 2Z6.
