Weather update: July 3rd Thursday 8am
The upper ridge that was over our region over the past couple of days has moved east, and we are now under a southwesterly flow aloft.
Expect a mix of sun and cloud today with slightly cooler temperatures compared to yesterday, but daytime highs will still be above seasonal for most areas.
Although this southwesterly flow is fairly dry, communities close to the mountains, e.g the Arrow Lakes and the Columbia regions will have the slight chance of a shower this afternoon.
Friday will be dry for all areas, but a frontal system pushing inland over the weekend will bring more cloud and isolated showers to the Southern Interior on Saturday.
Thursday’s High 24 to 32C
