WINNIPEG – A woman died after a fire broke out in an apartment building on Grant Avenue Tuesday.

Another woman suffered smoke inhalation in the fire at Tiffany Towers at 1179 Grant at about 3:30 p.m. on Canada Day.
The fire caused an estimated $50,000 damage.
Its cause is under investigation.
