The 41st annual Kelowna Folkfest took over Prospera Place, where Canada’s ethnic diversity was well represented.

Food stands from countries around the world offered up samples to taste. As well, Prospera Place housed a large maple life birthday cake.

The celebrations will wrap up tonight at 10:30 p.m. with a fireworks display at Tugboat Bay.

Kelowna Transit has extended operating hours for tonight, with buses leaving Queensway Station 30 minutes after the Fireworks end.
