EDMONTON – Eleven loaded grain cars derailed near Chisholm, Alberta Friday afternoon, according to a CN spokesperson.
It happened around 4:20 p.m.

“There were no dangerous goods involved, no injuries and no environmental impacts,” said Patrick Waldron of CN Public Affairs in an email to Global News.
He added that the track reopened to train traffic late Saturday morning.
The cause of the derailment is still under investigation.
Chisholm is located about 190 kilometres north of Edmonton.
