Edmonton police are investigating the city’s 22nd homicide of the year after a man was stabbed early Friday morning.
Investigators were called to the area of 110 Avenue and 83 Street just after 7:30 a.m.. They arrived to find a 55-year-old man suffering from a serious stab wound.
The man was rushed to hospital, but died approximately two hours later during emergency surgery.
Charges are pending against a 51-year-old woman who was known to the victim. Homicide investigators are receiving assistance from the Domestic Offender Crime Section.
