According to Transit Police the app will allow users to get a better understanding of where and when crime occurs in the city. Alerts will keep transit users in the loop about public safety concerns, missing persons or major service disruptions.
The OnDuty app is free to download from Apple iTunes and Google Play and is compatible with Apple and Android operating systems.
