TORONTO – Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Windsor, Chatham-Kent, Sarnia and immediate areas.
A severe thunderstorm made its way across Michigan Wednesday afternoon, finally reaching Ontario around 5 p.m.

The main threats with this storm is high winds and heavy rainfall. The warning is in place until 5:50 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Elgin, London and Middlesex.
A watch is issued when conditions are favourable for severe weather. A warning is when hazardous weather is imminent or occurring.
