ESTEVAN, Sask. – RCMP are investigating a deadly plane crash which happened in southeastern Saskatchewan on Sunday morning.
Around 10:10 a.m., emergency services were called to a downed Cessna aircraft near Torquay, Sask.
Mounties say the only two men occupying the plane were confirmed dead at the crash scene.
No names have been released at this time.
The aircraft was reported overdue shortly before it was located.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) is assisting in determining the cause of the crash.
TSB says it will be deploying a team of investigators Monday morning to the site of an accident involving a Cessna 172.
