TORONTO – The tallest heavyweight in the UFC is taking on the shortest.

Stefan (Skyscraper) Struve will fight Pat (HD) Barry on the UFC’s televised card Oct. 1 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C.

Struve (24-5) is six foot 11 while Barry (6-3) is five foot 11.

The weight difference between the two is more modest – Struve is listed at 238 pounds while Barry is 235.

The UFC tweeted a photo of the two taken outside the cage with Struve resting his elbow on Barry’s head.

Struve, from the Netherlands, is coming off bouts against six-foot-seven Travis Browne and Sean McCorkle, and six-foot-six Christian Morecraft.
