SASKATOON – A boy and a man suffered serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Saskatoon Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the two were using the crosswalk at 19th Street West at Avenue F South when they were hit.
A five-year-old boy was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The man also suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Traffic in the area was restricted for several hours while the collision analyst and forensic identification units carried out their investigation.
No charges have been laid.
